Kia ora Benjamin,
ReplyDeleteRuby here from the SLJ, a volunteer for the commenting team. I just ate my breakfast and am looking at a couple of cool posts to get inspired for my day.
Thank you so much for sharing your five words for summer! I like the background picture you put them on too - what dreamy scenery. Is this a beach that you went to or did you find the image online? I want to know where it is, the sand looks sooo soft. Where I am in Wellington, it is so hard to find sand like this. Most of our beaches are really rocky.
I like the words you chose. Especially the family and the cricket part - that sounds so fun. Do you play cricket on the beach?
My five words for summer are: aroha, creation, inspiration, whanau and adventure.
I look forward to seeing your new posts! Have you thought about any other words since your last post? Have you ever thought about incorporating your five summer words into a little poem or story?
Keep up the great mahi,
Ruby
Kia ora Benjamin!

What an awesome selection of words here! That sounds a lot like my summer also! I spent Christmas Eve playing a lot of backyard cricket!! Do you play cricket on the beach?
Awesome photo you have selected also. Did you take that yourself? Where is it?
My 5 kupu for summer are probably: relaxation, saltiness, books, whānau, and refresh!
Pai mahi on completing this activity! Have a go at other SLJ activities!
Ngā mihi nui,
Charlotte :)
