Hello, this week for math I did place value to create this I used google drawings. The thing I found the hardest was adding up the answers at the end of the question. I really enjoyed this type of math. It is probably my favourite strategy. To challenge myself I did decimals. Here is my google drawing creation.
Hello Our Learning intention is use linear scales and whole numbers of metric units for length. Here is one of my problems and my working out Ryan ran 1.8 kilometers and Travis ran 3.57 kilometers. How many kilometers have they ran altogether?
1+3=4
.8+.5.7=1.3
0.7=0=0.7
4+1.3=5.3
5.3+0.7=5.37
