 Hello this week for math we did coordinates. Here is my learning goal communicate and interpret locations and directions, using compass directions, distances, and grid references.

Here is my work. This how far it would take to canoe or boat form onawe pa through christchurch pa to kaiapo pa. It would take about 160 kilometres.

It take 71.2 kilometres to walk from onawe pa through christchurch central to kaiapo pa. it would take 19 hours and 43 minutes.

What is a coordinate? A Coordinate is something that you will see on a map. And it will help you find whereabouts it is. For example 63,45 might be Diamond harbour.

Can you find out how long it takes to get from Margaret mahy park to Kiapo pa?

Marvelous Math

 Hello, this week for math I did place value to create this I used google drawings. The thing I found the hardest was adding up the answers at the end of the question. I really enjoyed this type of math. It is probably my favourite strategy. To challenge myself I did decimals. Here is my google drawing creation.

Magnificent Math

 Hello Our Learning intention is use linear scales and whole numbers of metric units for length. Here is one of my problems and my working out Ryan ran 1.8 kilometers and Travis ran 3.57 kilometers. How many kilometers have they ran altogether?

1+3=4

 .8+.5.7=1.3  

0.7=0=0.7

 4+1.3=5.3

5.3+0.7=5.37

Here is my second problem 

54.14+8.6=62.74

54+8=62

.1.4+.6=.74

62+.74=62.74
