Hello Our Learning intention is use linear scales and whole numbers of metric units for length. Here is one of my problems and my working out Ryan ran 1.8 kilometers and Travis ran 3.57 kilometers. How many kilometers have they ran altogether?
1+3=4
.8+.5.7=1.3
0.7=0=0.7
4+1.3=5.3
5.3+0.7=5.37
Here is my second problem
54.14+8.6=62.74
54+8=62
.1.4+.6=.74
62+.74=62.74
Here is the rest of my math.
Can you figure these problems out and write them in as a blog comment?
15.6+12.43=
34.6+7.68=
87.9+6.77=
