Kia ora Benjamin,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your learning on Nano Girl's activity about the types of finger prints. I found your explanations very clear and informative!
What a great way to compare finger print types by using sellotape. It's interesting that you and your mum have the same loop structure. Do you think that this is because of your genetic ties? I have always found forensics fascinating, particularly when it comes to solving crimes using fingerprint technology, DNA matching and so forth. Do you find detective work intriguing?
I hope you are having a fabulous Christmas holiday break and I look forward to checking in one your blog. Nga mihi, Naomi (Manaiakalani Facilitator)
Hello Naomi,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this task I think I would quite like doing detective work.
Thanks Benjamin
Kia ora Benjamin,
ReplyDeleteGreat job thinking like an investigator and looking at your fingerprints in this activity. Did you learn something about using science to solve crime?
Awesome work figuring out your fingerprint is an arch, mine is a loop. It's tricky to figure out because they’re all very similar patterns! You did a great job explaining the three types of fingerprints!
Was it difficult to see the fingerprint on the tape? Did you try any other method of seeing your fingerprint?
Keep up the awesome and creative mahi.
Ngā mihi,
Lauren
