Never give up

Hello, today for the summer learning journey I made a song chorus and I named it Never give up. I decided to make this because I think children and adults should do what they want to do and Never give up on there dreams. Here is my google drawing chorus that I wrote.

I decided to use the All blacks as my background because I think that they never give up and keep on going even when they are losing.

Here is me singing the chorus of my song ¨Never give up¨.

whats an example that you think fits in with my song chorus?

  1. Hi Benjamin
I loved your blog post especially the part where you said use the All Blacks because they never give up,then at the start of your blog you said "i think adults and children should do what they want to do and never give up on there dreams" and you're right someone should nevergive up there dreams and keep reaching for them even if they are an adult or a child. I loved your blog but next time you could make your video up Higher but you did great on your blog.

My name is Renee and I am from the Summer Learning Journey Team. Ka pai for sharing this awesome blog post, Ben. I really like the chorus you have written. In particular, I really like the message to “never give up” as I think this is an inspirational way to think as everybody experiences challenges at one point or another in their lives. Have you written songs before? Did you find this activity fun or challenging (or both)?

I think the All Blacks are really awesome and watching them always makes me proud to be a kiwi. I’m not surprised you chose a picture of them to accompany your song lyrics given the themes of the chorus. Are the All Blacks your favourite sports team?

Well done for completing both the “Kick Start” and “Step it Up” elements of this activity by including a recording of yourself singing your chorus - this means you have earned extra points towards your Summer Learning Journey tally. The Summer Learning Journey Team really likes when bloggers include videos or pictures of themselves on their blogs as it is a great way to ensure your blog is unique and engaging.

Ngā mihi nui and keep up the excellent blogging!
    Renee (SLJ)
