Haiku poems

Hello, This week for writing we did Haiku poems. I learnt that the first line has 5 syllables the second 7 and the third 5. Here is a couple of poems I did.

 Rosie is my cat

 Rosie loves Jelly meat

Where's my Jelly meat?

Here is my second poem about squash.

 Run after the ball

Hitting the ball down the wall

Get out of the way

My third one is about Macaroni cheese

 Macaroni cheese

 The taste is Magnificent

Oh the oozy taste

Which poem was your favourite?

  1. Hi Benjamin. Thank you for sharing you fun Haiku Poems with me. It's hard to pick a favourite poem, as I love both cats and Macaroni Cheese! Your cat Rosie reminds me of my cat Poppy, always on the look out for mischief! Next time just double check you have the right amount of syllables in each line. And lastly, do you know which country The Haiku Poem originated from?
