Hello today for the summer learning journey we had to show a holiday that we did in summer so here is my one. It was a scout camp from the 2nd to the 9th 2021. Here is my work.
Kia ora, I am a student at St Francis of Assisi School, Welcome - Haere Mai. I am in Year 6 and my teacher is Mrs Carney. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note my work may include spelling or other errors because some of it will be my first drafts. I would like to get your feedback - comments, thoughts, questions and ideas to help me Learn Create Share.

Kia ora Benjamin,
ReplyDeleteFiona here from the Summer Learning Journey. Great work creating an awesome DLO all about your Scout camp! Staveley camp looks like so much fun. Did you go down the Canyon Cave on kayaks? The water looks so lovely and blue, I wonder if it was very cold. Did you have to do a lot of your own cooking and build camp fires?
My daughter was a Girl Guide and last year I went on camp with her. That was probably my favourite camp. We had to build fires to cook pancakes on and all the Girl Guides did heaps of activities to earn special sew-on badges. As a Scout, do you earn patches or badges?
Keep up the fantastic mahi!
Mā te wā,
Fiona (SLJ).
