Lockdown at my house
We have also been watching mass in the dining room which is very different than walking down to church. Last Friday we watched stations of the cross that involved walking down the hall to get to the dining room to watch Stations of the cross.
Each week Scouts New Zealand are sending through three challenges for the week. One of the scout challenges was to make something in the kitchen. So Mum and I made Rhubarb crumble for pudding last night. Today's challenge is to make a shelter. I think I will have to do it inside today because its pouring with rain.
We have been playing family board games after lunch each day. So far we have played Monopoly, Catan, Tri-ominos. Today we are going to play Monopoly. Mum and I have also been playing cards.
I have been reading a Kids national geographic I have finished reading Wombat Chronicles. I am reading Lost wonders vanished creatures of Aotearoa. Hi Benjamin
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have been keeping very busy so far! I love that you have also been lots of reading. I have been able to read each night and this makes me happy.
I have been doing lots of baking recently and I have some rhubarb in our garden that I eyed up the other day and thought that I should turn into apple crumble - I think you have inspired me to do so! I will let you know. Did the rhubarb come from your own garden? If so, what else do you make with it?
