Two arty pictures

For the Summer learning journey today we had to choose two pictures from this Link and show what is simuller and what is different.

One similarity is that they both have animals.  They both have patches of lots of colors.  Both pieces of art are outside.  There both on fences.

A difference is that the Bird one is based in the hills and the Cat one isn't.  One picture is about cats and the other is about birds.  Ones got a hot air balloon and the other doesn't.  In the painting one has trees round it the other one  doesn't.

Out of these two pictures which one is your favourite? My one is the cat one because I love cats.

  1. Kia ora Benjamin, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
Thank you for participating in the Summer Learning Journey and creating this blog post comparing the two images.
I really like how you have included both the similarities and differences between the images. Both pieces are unique in their own ways, yet they still have a surprising amount of resemblances like the use of animals, patches of colours, and the fact they have both been designed onto fences.
My favourite image out of the two is the cat picture as it is bright, colourful, and something that is a little different. I really like the different design on the cats, and think it was clever to only use a black and white design on one particular cat rather than them all.
What is your favourite part of this image?
The hot air balloons in the second image are exceptional and look as though they have come straight out of a Dr Suess book.
Do you enjoy reading Dr Suess? If so, which book is your favourite?
My favourite Dr Suess book is ‘The Lorax’ because not only are the illustrations exceptional, but the message and story line of the book are just as captivating.
    Keep up the great work!
    Nga mihi
