A garden of history
A garden of mystery
Lies tales the land could tell.
The people are not shy
To let out a cry
To say haere mai
Riding the ocean currents
and navigating by stars
thanks to our ancestors we live
here in Otautahi
Crusaders rule
wearing Black and red
we are proud to be Otautahi
Nothing breaks us down
We are a great town
We are proud to be christchurch
We are proud to put ourselves first.

Hello, this week for writing I wrote an article about our school bike track. I decided to interview three people. here is my work.
Ryan’s interview
Hello today I have been interviewing 3 people from St francis of assisi school in kaupeka the first person interviewing is ryan.
What I got from this interview is Ryan likes the bike track better because it is more fun playing on the bike track than the playground. Ryan thinks a cool improvement would be some little jumps just off the side of the track for the more confident people. Ryan's favourite part is the wave through the trees.
He thinks that the bike track could be safer to cross but it is good for now until more people want to learn how to ride a bike.
Ryan thinks the days are pretty fair and spread out for all student year groups. Ryan also said no he does not think that is fair because the older students get the hall when the younger kids do not get the hall.
Ryan loves the idea of a bike tournament because he thinks there would be some really fast people to compete against.

Travis’ interview
So what I got from the interview with Travis is he does not like the bike track. He does not like the bike track because children could crash and get really hurt. He thinks an improvement would be a jump on the side for more experienced bikers. He said that they could have a bike patrol like road patrol and stop people so they can walk across the track safely.
Travis said that he thinks the bike days are not fair and kaupeka should have less because we get the hall a lot.
Travis' favourite part of the bike track is the wave part where you weave through the trees.
Travis likes the idea of having a bike tournament because people can get faster.
Tu’s interview
Tu likes the bike track because you can ride on it instead of riding round the school and having a risk of crashing into other people.
One improvement that could be made is how many people can go on there at a time and maybe faster people in one group and slower in another so the faster people don't have to keep passing the slower ones. Tu said that she thinks that the bike track is not really safe to cross so we could have stop signs.
Tu decided that Kaupeka and tumu get the bike track most of the time so the others do not get it as much. Tu said no because the older students can come to school whenever they want to.
Tu’s Favourite part of the bike track is the windie part by the trees. Because they are really fun.
Tu said there should be a bike tournament but there should be races for different year levels.
So it looks like most of the children I interviewed really liked the bike track and they would like some jumps on the side of our bike track as well as someone to run a bike tournament.

Hello, this week for math I did place value to create this I used google drawings. The thing I found the hardest was adding up the answers at the end of the question. I really enjoyed this type of math. It is probably my favourite strategy. To challenge myself I did decimals. Here is my google drawing creation.
