Going to Lyttelton and trams
On Wednesday Madison her Grandpa and I walked to the bus stop on Kensington Ave we rode to the bus exchange then caught another bus to Lyttelton and got ice creams. I got a banana chocolate chip ice cream Madison got a boysenberry ice cream and her Grandpa got a orange chocolate chip ice cream. My one was delicious.
We took our ice creams to the park and played there. After we had finished we went to the library at Lyttelton to see when the bus arrived. Madison's Grandpa said we could look at some of the books there then we had to go. We walked down the steep road to the bus stop. We looked down and saw a huge ship leaving. We could also see the bus coming up the hill to get us. We went through the big tunnel to get back to the bus exchange.
From the bus exchange we walked to the Hoytes to get something to eat for lunch we were busy deciding if we wanted pizza or sushi but we chose pizza. I chose a pizza called mamamia Madison chose to make her own and her Grandpa decided to get a hawaiian pizza. After a while our pizzas came out of the oven we sat down and gobbled them down they were fabulous pizzas.
After we had our Pizzas we went to the Trams and had a look around the city. We saw the Avon river and the broken down cathedral and the new library. We had a really fun time. My favourite part was going to Lyttelton and having the ice creams.
If you had a journey like this, what part do you think you would like the best?
